Guest: Barbi Twins
Host: Dr. Drew, Tami Heide
Listen to theShow
Show Summary:
Going back to the old school, this one starts with KROQ DJ Tammi saying that she has a cold and asks Drew if he brought any medicine with him. This is the same Tammi that is heard on the 1993 show with the Melvins as the guest.
A bunch of different phone numbers and a fax number are given out. It is revealed that Poorman is in Australia and cannot do the show tonight.
Tammi and the twins sing the Loveline Jingle.
Caller Hugo says he is urinating blood and then asks to say hello to some people.
The twins say they had a close call with one of their father's friends molesting them. They tried to black it out but it came back with therapy.
Coming back from a break, the bumper heard at the start of the 1993 show with The Melvins is played.
The twins say they have an eating disorder and were raised in an alcoholic family.
The twins attempt to sing Happy Birthday to two twin guys. They then talk about the various 12 step meetings they attend.
There is a follow up from a recent caller who did acid. Apparently Drew and Tami were given flack for trying to scare him into a bad trip.
Dr. Marcel is introduced. Caller Stimpy calls in to ask Dr. Marcel about penis enlargements.
The last caller brings up an interracial dating service woman who was a guest on the show.
The twins say they are planning on doing more things for Playboy and that they really liked the show.
DJ Tammi says the band Rage Against the Machine will be on the show tomorrow.

The Barbi twins seem to have personal experience with just about everything the callers throw at them and give lots of good advice, but the show is completely lacking in comedy and does get pretty boring. Poorman is no Adam obviously, but shows like this make you realize that he was pretty entertaining.
Poorman wasn’t bad at all, compared to the other hosts after Adam’s depature. Poorman can be rather gross with the female guests though.
One of the last calls was certainly bogus. It should be noted that these earlier shows handled those kinds of calls very different than later shows. Even though everyone in the room suspects it to be a fake call, they continue on taking it as if it is a real one. I hated this aspect of the vintage show.
It never ceases to amaze me how frequently parents molest their children. I dearly hope the worst for them, and I hope they burn in hell.
