Show Summary:

Featuring Lee Ving and Spit Stix of the band Fear.

Poorman says the band will play Friday night at the Palladium and that the Toy Dolls are opening.

Apparently Fear wasn't played a whole lot on KROQ.

The band says they play faster music than they used to. Their record "Fear Live" was just released.

Poorman asks who they think has copied their style. Their answer is that they'd rather not say. Poorman goes on to say that they mentioned Megadeth and Guns N' Roses but they deny it.

A second song is played. Poorman's boss called in and the producers are freaking out about Fear being in the studio.

The Loveline Jingle is played. Lee and Spit Stix won't sing it though.

A caller says he has a fake nut. He thinks it's silicone and he's worried about the recent silicon breast scare about leakage. Drew explains what the problems with silicon are including a scleroderma reaction. Poorman says scleroderma sounds like a margarine you'd spread on bread. He has a second question about a crazy ex-girlfriend who has a kid of his. He's married to a different girl and they have to take care of the kid because she's an addict. The band is bored and starts snoring.

Poorman says he was bringing out bands at a concert one time and the girl he was with passed out. He had to carry her back to the car, lock the door and go back and introduce the rest of the bands.

A quick song is played and Dr. Drew is in the other room when they come back.

Lee makes fun of the Loveline Jingle and Poorman is forced to sing it by himself.

A Domino's pizza guy is downstairs and can't get inside to deliver a pizza they ordered.

Caller Vikki says Lee is very rude but loves him. Poorman says he's probably going to be talked to by his bosses the next day.

A caller goes to ask Drew a question about HIV but it got but out.

Caller Liz asks Lee "Bing" how to deal with her guilt for making up her question. She compares it to Lee feeling about putting down fans of his. Lee shuts her up and tries to hang up but hits the wrong button. He then attacks the board and hangs up on all the callers. They go to a song while more callers are screened.

The Loveline Jingle is sung one last time.

Lee cuts a guy off and hangs up on him. The next guy uses the F word but it got cut out. He goes on to talk about the F-ing screeners and it gets through this time.

A caller asks Lee how old he is and his answer is none of your business. He is curious about how Lee got along with Tony Danza and gets hung up on even though there was nothing wrong with the call.

Caller Jessica calls Poorman really wimpy for letting some "idiotic jerk" attack the callers. Lee hangs up on her followed by Poorman explaining why he is allowing it.

A guy asks about sex being painful. Lee says it's painful for them to hear about and hangs up on him as well. Unfortunately that is the end of the recording. I can only imagine how much crazier it must have gotten after that.

Poorman mentions, almost gleefully, that his bosses are calling, producer’s freaking out, crew has “mutinized,” yet he pretty much gives Lee free rein as he craps all over the show and the callers, and eventually starts just hanging up on everyone. It makes for a pretty entertaining show. I enjoy Poorman’s irreverent attitude at times like this, but it’s easy to see how it eventually gets him fired.
