"Contest" in which Poorman asks female callers why their boyfriend is the best "loverboy" and lets Robyn be the judge.
-
Callers request songs for Robyn to play. He settles on "The Crystal Ship" by The Doors and "Avalon" by Roxy Music.

Love the live performance
“You don’t screen these calls very well, do you?”
If I were this dude I would’ve messed with em’ and made something up.
Is this even Loveline? Unless you’re a Robyn Hitchcock fan this is really only interesting because of how bad it is. It’s comically bad. The contest is a complete debacle. That’s followed by about ten minutes of people calling and having their requests declined before he finally decides to play something.
Terrible, but funny. The live performance was surprisingly good.
What is this? It doesn’t even sound like loveline.
