I am not totally sure of the details but there was a female caller who said she felt uncomfortable when her boyfriend kept trying to wrestle her or give her tickle attacks. She asked him to stop and he kept doing it. Adam and Drew sensed there was something more that had gone on when she was a kid, and indeed it turned out a psycho neighbor man had been breaking into the mansion(?) where she grew up and hid in her closet to watch her sleep(?!). Something totally crazy like that.

And the boyfriend knew about her trauma history and still enjoyed sneaking up on her and grabbing/tickling/wrestling, basically physically overpowering her. The hosts were gobsmacked. It’s one of those calls where the caller doesn’t give any of the history away until Adam scratches under the surface and starts making his near-psychic guesses (mostly as a joke) and then she confirms all the crazy backstory.

It’s as memorable to me as the episode with that creepy guy who broke into a cemetery mausoleum and stole a human skull and put it in his terrarium because he thought it would look cool with a pet snake. One of those calls where you believe it but you’re also in total disbelief because it’s just too nuts. I was pretty sure there was no guest but I feel like I listened to most of the “just the love between the two hosts” episodes and couldn’t find it again.

Please tell me I didn’t imagine this.

It’s the episode with Charles Fleischer.
