    So I gave the episode from 1996-11-11 a rating of 3/5, but it is showing up as 3.84/5.00 for the average, with only 1 vote. Not sure how that calculates out but there may be a bug somewhere.

    The numerical rating that shows is the average show rating as voted on by all site members. The number of golden hearts is the rating that YOU gave it.

    Yup, I get that. What I am saying is that the show only has 1 rating total from all site members. So total votes = 1 vote = my vote = 3/5, yet the average is 3.84.

    I’ve noticed that too. I don’t think it’s a bug. I think it’s intentionally set up that way. It’s like a show starts out with a bunch of invisible 4 star votes or something. I figured it was meant to keep a show from getting an outlier rating based on too small a sample size of voters.
