It’s weird how often I’ve caught Drew screwing up on simple math! Adam does it a lot, too. They both also repeat numbers back incorrectly all the time. One of Ace’s most common errors that has bothered me the most over the years is his incorrect usage of “hypothesis” and “hypotheses.” He always mistakenly uses the plural form (hypotheses) when referring to a single hypothesis!

lol, it’s true though. The hypotheses thing always bugs me. Especially because nobody ever corrects him. Not a guest, Drew, Bruce, Ann, Anderson, Mike, nobody. I guess they just figured he misspoke when they first heard it, and then it would’ve been awkward to correct him after not doing so for so long.
It’s not a big deal knucklhd, but it’s worth mentioning.
sure sure I get it. Im just don’t get the worth mentioning part. Unless one’s goal is to dazzle the rest of the forum dwellers with one’s grasp of first year general studies. This isn’t L’s first rodeo (although it’s not the first time I’ve razzed her(?)either! lol).
Although this takes an uncomfortable turn…I don’t want to attack anyone here. I really am just yanking her chain. I actually get a kick out of your comments L, they just don’t have to ALWAYS be about how you’re smarter than Drew and Adam.
Just keep it civil y’all. L is a benefactor of many 90’s tapes and actually one of my closest friends. She has many more tapes in storage that are presumably mostly lost content. I appreciate all participation in comments and call tagging. Just let’s not attack (I know that wasn’t your intention and you’ve left great comments like you said). blah,blah,blah be cool.
Knucklhd, nobody is trying to dazzle anyone by pointing out that it’s interesting that he’s said “hypotheses” when he meant “hypothesis” about a thousand times on this show, and how NOBODY has ever corrected him or questioned it.
It’s a quirk of the show, and yes, worth mentioning, which is kind of the point of a comment section. Nobody–certainly not me–is trying to “sound smarter” than Drew and Adam.

although I never directed any negative comment toward you Landlubber, at least I didn’t mean to.
This was a bit of a miscommunication the whole time…I’m sure a bright guy like you Landlubber, if you were a little more familiar with L’s “comment history” (and I have no doubt she’s a lovely person), would at least understand how it might inspire a little good natured ribbing from certain people with certain character flaws, and maybe put my original comment here in a little clearer context..
And with that, I will leave the dead horse to rot and look forward to the next time I make an ass of myself.
Yeah, no biggie man. And you’re right, I’m not familiar with L’s comment history so I’ll give you that one. And I didn’t think you directed anything negative to me.

Great show! Love the laughs. Lotta nutty chicks which Adam and Drew always have fun with. I got surprised by a lesser-known Adam Shuffle at the end, never heard it before. Good stuff!
L is right about the math thing. They know how many grams in an 1/8 ounce, but can’t figure out an ounce is 28 grams. This happens many time. Both brilliant men, but no good at math.
