I think that summary belongs to 2002-11-19 (Tommy Chong).
there is a weird and obnoxious sound that seems to exist for most of the show but especially the first half of the show. its as if someone is eating, or licking their lips, or something like that, but either way it screws up the show for me.
I can’t stand it when anyone eats (At the Drive in show for example)
I think Tommy was chewing gum or something. Didn’t hear anything since I used speakers, not headphones 🙂
Great episode, worth a listen.
I was listening with headphones, only noticed the gum once….. solid episode despite 3 skippable songs. Tommy is very gracious with fans calling in, unlike some (much smaller) acts who are indifferent to their fans.
Tommy is very personable and not only engaging with the guests, but has no problem telling personal stories as well.
Opens with the story of what happened to the Ferrari Testlerosa that Adam drove around the block last time Tommy was in studio.
Him and Adam bond over Tommy’s “No Thanks List” on the back of the record. Similar to Adam going on talk shows and telling people from his past to Kiss his Ass.
Tommy also dishes on Pam and the tape.
Drew gets indignant on a caller who claims that her Dr told her that would be more fertile while ON the pill.
Tommy’s music is terrible
