Something is up here. This is the summary Giovanni posted on the message board for 2002-01-27, but it’s referring to a no-guest show that is 1:32:31 in length (I’m listening to it right now). So either the summary has the wrong date and should go elsewhere, or the Foo Fighters show on this page belongs on another page.
The summary on this page (They discuss the “Royal Tenenbaums” and compare it to “Being John Malkovich”….A young female caller wants to dye her “Poobes”) matches the show on the 2002-01-20 page, but that page currently says Shaggy is the guest. Shaggy must have appeared on a different date, I think.
Taylor Hawkins, the drummer from The Foo Fighters, is the guest.
Adam tells the story of the “party house” and seeing Dave Grohl’s sister(a neighbor to the party house).
Ace tells her that he will drop by and have a look at the home. When he does, he is met at the door by a “floozy”; who happens to be in the house with Dave Grohl. Adam must feel at this point, it is just some floozy .Later it is revealed that is was really Dave’s wife. Adam made no mention of it in this episode. Maybe the embarrassment of the whole situation was a bit fresh.
Adam also tells tall of hiding in his closet, to watch a friend and his date copulate. Step mom, Lyne finds couple in the room, asking where Adam is… good times ensue.

Those KNRK CD’s were off once in a while, couldn’t figure out the date, starts with Adam talking about getting a steak with Drew the night before, possible a Sunday show since they probably wouldn’t go out to eat after the show. Sound familiar to anyone?
1:08:50 Adam tells a hilarious American Pie type story of when he was in high school he let his friend have sex in his room as he watched from the closet during lunch hour… and then getting caught by his step mom and having to escape the house Snake Plisken style. It had me in stitches, absolutely one of the best childhood stories he’s ever told.

Guest is Taylor (drummer). Is there via Drew to talk about being sober on the program, recovery.
Show should be renamed “Taylor Hawkins” rather than Foo Fighters. Dave Grohl and the other members are not there that night.
Taylor is a bit of a reluctant guest but opens up as the show goes on. Adam’s closest story is hysterical, surprised i’d never heard it before.
Adams closet sex story is great one of my favorites, 5 stars just for that.
