Sometime before the first break Adam mentions he is still a little drunk and is starting to come down so he needs a nip then after they come back from break it turns out Ken brought in a bottle of Jack Daniels from his car.

This is one of my favs! Adam was filming a drunk pilot bit where him and Jimmy actually got drunk. He cracks up the female guest! Some great 1 liners.
“You know who my neighbors are?”
“Who?”
“I don’t know! That’s my point”
Drew tells him to never come to work drunk again.

Game and compatible guests and Adam is very snappy. (I think he tries to impress other comedians he admires) Good variety of calls.
I was surprised at how funny Drew is in this one! Great chemistry all around, definitely worth a listen.

During the last call, Drew gives his speech about young men not wanting to get married: “They will pass up a woman they really love, but know that they could not have gotten married because they were not ready.”
The fact that he says it the same way every time, and with such conviction, really makes me think he’s talking about himself, maybe even rationalizing.

One of the best of 2001. Fantastic, involved guests, Adam making funnies all over the studio.

This is just solid life advice.
Ken Marino makes a couple comments bashing the show they’re there to promote. Adam asks near the beginning of the show if it’s good and Ken says “yeah other than the terrible reviews and the no ratings, it’s a great show.” Then near the middle of the show they’re going to break and Adam repeats the title of the show and Ken says “catch it while you can” indicating that it will surely be cancelled in no time. According to IMDB, he was correct. The show, called First Years, ran from 2001-2001.
Super drunk Adam on his A game with some guests that are super chill. One of the few episodes that I give a 5 stars
I had to re listen to this masterpiece show and it really is as good as the rating says
Omg when Adam goes off about Zack, “have fun with your silicone Bitch” I’m still laughing about that . I wish he was always this loaded he cuts right through the bs. Great show! And as a longtime Psych fan I never knew James Roday went back this far career wise. Ten stars!
