At 85:00, Nelly talks about a new, unknown artist that’s opening for her act who turns out to be Jack Johnson.
Nelly has that “Kari Wuhrer” vocal quality when she talks. Not nearly as batshit, but also not a very interesting guest either.
This is the same show as the previous (2000-10-12)
Nelly Furtado is a “delight” to have on the show says Adam and Drew. She seems completely oblivious that Anderson is doing drops during the show, reacting each time to them. She provides great feedback to Adam and gives the show a nice upbeat tone.
Shows like this make me wonder if there shouldn’t have been a female third in the mix the whole time.
Another Trevor/Drunk Marcus call, this time as “Julius.” He makes small talk instead of asking a question so Adam cuts him off.

Great show. Nelly has a way cooler attitude than I expected. Calls were okay, but I really liked Nelly’s personality. Drew and Adam were really on point. This is one of the better shows recently
