Dr. Bruce episode!
Adam’s rants about how corrupt the California court system is. After his car got demolished in a hit-and-run accident the perpetrator owed Adam a court-mandated 4000 dollars, but the guy refused to pay after the first two installments and the court never went after him… Fast forward to 1997 and a delinquent 36 dollar parking ticket Adam hasn’t paid yet is about to go to warrant, thus potentially putting Adam in danger of dealing with the marshals. Carolla concludes that if the justice system isn’t making money off of you they don’t care about defending your rights as a citizen.
Later on Dr. Bruce shares a story about how a gangbanger he once operated on got away with murdering a retired cop after shooting him in public.
Bruce also questions the “legality” of gambling on live-radio, at which point Adam challenges the chicken s. FCC to do something about it – especially in light of all of the lotto commercials they let air during the show.
The last call ends up with Adam and Bruce talking about Atheism v. Spirituality for the remainder of the show
