The only reason you should skip the first hour is if you’re a Boston Celtics fan. Otherwise, Cooper is just another quirky, enjoyable guest.
I agree, there’s no reason to skip over Coop. He’s a laid-back and agreeable guest; as Adam and Drew point out, he’s one of the few guests who starts off with “It’s nice to be here, thanks for having me.”
In fact, the first hour is better. Yes, Adam does bring up Huell Howser in the second hour, but he does his impression for WAY too long. Having a guest there would have moved things along.
Coop isn’t bad at all, even opens up about his foot fetish lol. Kind of quiet toward the end of his appearance. There’s an episode before where they talk about huell howser I guess it should’ve come after this one
Coop (genuinely concerned): Dr. Drew, do you think that this young man is maybe into bestiality?
Dr. Drew: Mmmmm ….no, I think he’s just an idiot.
Also Coach stumbles upon the reason why the WNBA sucks and will never be popular…
Coop: Let me tell you something Adam…I’ll bet you that we have at least 3 girls on our team that could take you one on one.

Very average episode.
Adam’s misogyny is rarely far from the surface but in this episode he cannot contain his outright hatred of women. Michael Cooper sounds like a total gentleman.
