I definitely fall into the first category. Holly hellraisers – imegaloverandysavageafterthisepisode. There is no off switch on the Randy Savage character personality! He tells tales of Andre the Giant and makes all kinds of ridic cracks throughout the show. LOVE! I think my fave part was when some screwball calls in and goes “OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH yeah!” and he replies “OHHHHHHHHHH maybe…”

In memory of Macho Man’s passing today I came back to listen to this episode.

This is one of my favorites. Randy is a character who definitely entertained me the entire time of this episode. I remember the first time I heard it I was amazed he didn’t break character for the entire episode. I didn’t get tired of his voice, and I was pleasantly surprised at his quick wit and impromptu comedic responses. I suggest you honor him by listening to this episode at least once!

Also his match with Ricky Steamboat at WM3 is one of the greatest wrassssssslin matches ever. Fucking shame Randy Savage is blacklisted from WWE even after his death

Oh man. I was not expecting this from Macho Man. I avoided this show for a very long time thinking I’d cringe after about five minutes of his schtick. Not at all. This guy is really funny and quick as hell. Macho man is really engaging and overall this episode is one of the best for me because it’s a just little different from your standard show.

Randy Savage is truly entertaining. 5 stars for me. Scary stuff toward the end when drew makes a joke about slim Jim’s clogging arteries and the macho man says “well you don’t wanna live too long, right?” He was a mega cool character even during the time I was into pro wrestling. I had no idea he was from Chicago
