I remember hearing this show live. Matthew’s a nice guy.
I started out wanting to hate McC, but turns out he’s at least an average guest. He got a little high-n-mighty about his name towards the end of the show, but whatever. Overall, a decent show.

McConaughey is so chill brah, just don’t call him Matt
McConaughey seems like a good enough guy, but he doesn’t contribute a whole lot.
He’s funny in a “WTF” way haha that’s the only way I could describe it. Also one of those guys who freaks out when you call him Matt
Loved McConaughey in ‘True Detective’, so it was fun to go back and listen to this episode. Around 1:19:00 Matthew explains to a caller why he doesn’t like being called Matt, and will not respond to it. Funny thing is that Carolla told a story on his podcast last week (I think) about an uncomfortable experience that one of Adam’s ‘Catch a Contractor’ co-stars recently had when he approached McConaughey at some awards banquet, or something, and kept calling him ‘Matt’. Obviously, Adam can’t be expected to recall off-hand comments made 14 years earlier on Loveline, but it’s really funny that it came up. Adam might get a kick out of re-hearing that.
