At about 32 minutes Adam tees off on Drew for being distracted by his website chat room. This goes on for about 5 or 6 minutes and Drew basically shuts down about mid-way through and stops responding to Adam. Adam then threatens to quit and leave Drew alone with the show. The guests are silent throughout except for a couple of nervous giggles. Awkward!

Ya, I think this is one of the only times I’ve heard Adam sound really pissed off. He gets funny-angry with callers, but I don’t think I’ve heard him like this…

  3. Sure, she was opinionated, but I think her advise was accurate. I thought it was funny that Adam told her to be nicer to a caller, when she was saying the exact same thing he has said a million times.

I think what Adam picked up on was her tone. She gave a lot of sound advice that would have looked great on paper. But whenever she got going, it sounded like she herself had gone through whatever the call was about. As Adam would say, it would get a little cathartic. She spoke so quickly and so forcefully that you could practically hear the “energy” behind her words. I imagine it must have uncomfortable to hear it all in person.

It gets so old hearing Ace yell at Drew. I skipped forward at one point. He does it to this day. I feel bad for Drew… Notice how Ace never yells at Mark Garagos when Mark interrupts him or steps on a spot? Weird, right?
