Robin’s call towards the middle is so sad. It starts out someone boring, and ends so sad.
Ugh. Katy’s call towards the end is even worse.

Agreed, Robin 0:41:47 and Katy 1:21:50 are good and nutty. But I’m more like Drew whereas I’m intrigued and like to study them. I’ve learned PLENTY about human nature from this show.

Night of the vapid airheads. This show was 15 years ago and ill bet the last caller katey has been raped 15 times since then and is probably living in one of those shitty motels turned into apartmentments selling her snatch for 20 bucks a night so she can afford her meth addiction. And thats not even mentioning the kids she probably has being supported by tax dollars that will start the cycle right over again and continue the downfall of this country, all because she wouldnt listen to Adam and Drew.
It’s hilarious to hear Drew messing with his pen cap constantly in the background. I guess it’s a marker really, like a Sharpie. You can hear him playing with the cap and that clicking noise it makes. It’s still early in the show so I don’t know if Adam ends up calling him out for it, but in later shows he always talks about how Drew would do this and that it drove him nuts. So far he hasn’t said anything but given what we know about the future, he’s probably seething with anger about it, in his silence.
Also funny to hear Drew react to people saying explicit things. Some guy talks about rubbing his girlfriend’s clit and he sighs deeply. A couple episodes before this he cut a guy off and said “alright that’s enough!” just cuz the guy talked about getting head. Drew was a prude in these “earlier” episodes, which is weird since he’s been on the show since the 80’s.

Katie is hostile and makes you angry. That’s how you know she was abused. Perfect example of something Adam and Drew said for years.

“Katie” calls back 3-17-99 show as Becka as a 15 year old. Has the exact same voice and same response when they ask if she has trauma and similarly denies all advice.
At the end says “Hey Adam can I give you a compliment?” in the same cadence she says “Hey Adam I saw you today”. This time he says no and hangs up. This is 100% the same caller.
