Notes I jotted down (spoiler alert):

    – Andrea Lewis is the guest at the start of the show (singer from The Darling Buds)
    – Poorman auditioning for a Bud Dry commercial, saw a friend of the show named Mr. Pete who got pissed because Jim didn’t remember him.
2:30 Drew brings up some vandalism of his of Poorman’s house from his ex-wife. Drew presses for more info but Jim actually won’t talk about it any more.
4:30 Channel 13 in studio doing a Drew interview about kids abusing computer cleaner.
6:00 The Darling Buds song “Crystal Clear” song is played
11:30 Drew says Poorman is in a bad mood. Poorman brings up some bad blood between him and the people at KROQ and leaves the studio. This seems to be the infamous “walk off” show.
12:40 Fast forward 6 weeks later to St. Patricks Day. Poorman calls in under a woman’s voice at the start of the show wondering what happened to the Loveline Jingle (This is the time while Jim was suspended from the station). They call the number back and bust him. He wants to come back on but it’s not been a full six weeks yet. He references Sluggo and Tammi filling in for him. Jim says he’ll be back on Sunday and that he taught the Poorbaby some new words.
19:20 Fast forward to April 17th (this broadcast) and Poorman says that this is in fact the “Worst of Loveline” episode.
20:00 Phyllis Diller is a phoner for the first segment, seriously. At 75 years old she refers to Jim as the Poorboy and talks about her grandchildren at one point. “Children screwing” seems to be a weird to term her.
30:40 Drew gives out the number to Las Encinas and recommends Ed Storti to a caller.
31:30 Phyllis freaks out and hangs up because she can’t take the show anymore.
32:10 The next segment includes MTV’s Kennedy. An angry mother calls in and berates the show for Poorman giving out her home phone number after her kid’s friend made a bogus call. Scott Mason is pulled into the studio and throws another screener named Tina under the bus for the incident. Kennedy can’t stop laughing at everyone while they try to take care of the situation and things escalate. Poorman tells her to go back to MTV and to shut her mouth. It just gets uglier as the clip goes on.
39:50 Top 3 Loveline songs of all time:
#3. “Porno Music” (song was still played years later after Poorman left)
    #2. “Me and My Vibrator”
#1. “Smoke Two Joints” (Original 80’s song by The Toyes that Sublime covered years later)
50:05 A fight between Poorman and a DJ from Power 106 named Lozano comes up. He is pissed because he feels the guys from A Lighter Shade of Brown(guests that night) are traitors for going on another LA radio station. One Dope Mexican actually went over to Power 106 to calm down Lozano.
1:00:30 This is a clip from the infamous Kari Wuhrer “Strip Loveline” episode she mentioned when she returned in 1999. For every masturbation call, Kari and Poorman have to remove an article of clothing. Apparently MTV’s China Kantner was also in the studio that night. Poorman completely undresses at the 1:08:30 mark and continues to do the show as Kari describes the scene.
1:15:59 Clip with The Cure from 1992-06-22 where Robert Smith goes to war with Drew on his statements that drugs are bad for you. Missing from the incomplete Cure show already in the archive.

I’m really glad this is here. There are so many moments on here that are talked about in other episodes. Poorman walking off the show, the Phyllis Diller incident, the Kari Wuhrer strip thing. This is great.
