Infamous episode where Poorman lets it be known (on air) that Valley 2 has the blocked operator breakthrough feature removed. This gets pretty insane after a few minutes. Typically, his on-air stunts are rude or annoying, but this one is Poorman at his best. To make it even better, you don’t hear a peep out of Drew, although I can picture him laughing quietely the whole time…as this was when he was still quite conservative. To make this even better, the Tropicana girls were extremely outgoing and goofy…and laughed at every joke someone made. By far, this is the most entertaining Poorman era show I’ve heard so far.
Probably my favorite Poorman episode available on this site.

I kind of wonder what happened to some of these operators. I wonder if any of them are working to this day, and if anyone of them remember this happening almost 30 years ago. I did enjoy this episode, but it’s one of those episodes for me, that I can only listen to you a few times. I much preferred the episode in 1995 with Hagfish. Solid episode, though.
