Show Summary:

First of all, thanks to Dave for sharing these from his private collection. You can check out all his photo album mentioned during the show on Facebook here:

The show starts off with Dave saying how Sam Kinison wanted to be on the show but he's stuck in New York.

Doug explains how he has Muscular Dystrophy and hates Jerry Lewis. They talk about the various bits they do when touring with Sam's live comedy shows.

Drew has a friend named Stan Galperson from Las Encinas medical center in the studio and Lee Alpert is on this show too. A song or a commercial or something is played. Drew tried running the control board and there is a confusing technical SNAFU for a couple minutes. Poorman then plays an actual song.

They talk about the venues they're performed at and how they opened for Bon Jovi once.

Dave and Doug say they're fans of the show and sing the Loveline jingle.

7:55 Caller Joanne, 21says her two year relationship is lacking a good sex life and wonders how it can be improved. Dave and Doug suggest going to different locations. Dave wants her to put on a wig, she's impressed by the idea. Poorman suggests bondage and food.. There is a bogus feeling about this call so they move on.

12:20 Tina, 16 asks Dr. Drew what the long terms of Crystal Meth are. She says she's been snorting it. Drew describes the many problems such as heart attacks and strokes that are caused by the drug. Drew's friend weighs in and talks about how users don't eat or sleep as much as they should be.

Doug says he's about 4ft tall and has always been in the wheelchair due to his disease. He's glad he can have fun with it all though.

16:28 Shelly who is 18, has a boyfriend that wants her to have group sex with him. She doesn't want to take part because she doesn't want to feel like a slut. They guys tell her to simply not do it if she doesn't want to.

20:35 Phil, 22 says he's living with his girlfriend and her mom. They got caught doing it when she came home and now he's afraid he may get kicked out of the house. The mom apparently thought they were both virgins. The guys suggest he just let the girl talk to her mom about it by herself if that.

Dave and Doug say they've been touring for 3 years and were busy with movies and whatnot way before that. There's discussion about a feud going on between Sam and Andrew Dice Clay.

26:30 Matt, 14 says he's a fan of Dice Clay and calls him the best. At the same time he calls Sam "Rad" His question is about a girl at school that likes him. He went up to her and asked if she did and got a denied. They ask to call her on the air, but Matt is really hesitant.

Producer Ann has been looking through a photo album Dave and Doug brought with a huge amount of photos they took with celebrities, they're really impressed by it. Doug says people in wheelchairs shouldn't be afraid to approach women.

The Loveline jingle is sung again.

33:17 Julie, 17 asks Drew about being the pill and having crazy acne breakouts. Drew suggests either stop it, treat her acne, or have it adjusted. She asks if smoking will have any adverse effects with her taking he pill and Drew says no, and that smoking is bad.

35:26 Jill, 24 follows up to the group sex call earlier. She has experienced it but still says the girl shouldn't do it if she doesn't feel comfortable with it.

36:47 Poorman goes to take the next call and there's a bit of a technical SNAFU with the caller yelling and everyone panicking. When she gets on the air, Jan who is 21 says she has had group sex as well. She'll have a threesome with her boyfriend one if his friends but not one of her friends. There is a tape flip and she mentions having tickets to some summer concert. Poorman makes a threesome pun about her buying them.

40:08 Jerry, 20 has an ex-girlfriend who he suspects is on crystal meth. She wakes him up in the middle of the night and is hanging out with all these older guys and no showering or anything. Drew says there may be some cocaine usage as well. He wants to know how to get away from her, yet at the same time not have her die. Stan says he may want to get the family involved to take care of the girl. Poorman asks about the horrible cases that come into Las Encinas and if they can actually recover. Drew says relapse is a very big problem and users need to be in an in-patient treatment program.

44:20 A guy named Fate, 21 claims he is trapped in a Satanic Devil cult. He's being very vague and gets dumped because of the "S" word. He's been getting into the Ouija boards lately and getting freaked out. His question is how can he get away from the people enabling him to do this stuff as well as LSD a lot. Drew and Stan hit the nail on the head and say LSD can cause paranoia. Stan talks about his past LSD use and how they got freaked out by a Ouija board and threw it in a fire. The caller says he did the same thing. He has a weird question about cat-killing holidays and then says whats up to all his hippy friends who got beat up by the police earlier that day. A 2 Live Crew reference is made and Lee talks about people's rights currently. Poorman says he never votes because he doesn't understand it all. Drew says he just doesn't know how to register and won't remember election day. It's then revealed that Drew was the only person in the studio that voted at the last election day.

They say the reason Sam couldn't make it is because he was doing the International Rock awards in New York.

The Loveline jingle is sang again.

59:00 Caller Schmiddy, 18 is in college to be a lawyer. She is dating a man 16 years older than him. She's been thinking that this guy probably wouldn't end up being her husband and he is feeling bad for him. The guys say to just tell her to be honest and not worry about him. She finishes up the call by saying she was in a treatment program and has been sober for 4 years. When she says she works at a bar, everyone in the studio immediately asks what bar it is. They screw with her and say they'll ask her off the air. She drops the name of the owner and how he dates Vanna White and basically gives away the bar. Dave gets the call back on track and she says her boyfriend drinks and smokes pot and how that makes her uncomfortable.

1:07:14 Matt, 17 asks Dr. Drew how a person knows they are an alcoholic since he has blackouts. Drew says it could get out of control after a while if he keeps it up.

1:09:25 Destiny, 16 says she got out of an in-patient treatment program a few months back and relapsed that night. Now she's drinking at school, partying all the time and feels like the disease is out of her control now. Her boyfriend doesn't want to stay with her if it keeps up. Stan says she needs to go back and be honest with a group and get back in to recovery. Also she may need to leave her friends that drink, maybe even her boyfriend. Right before she's about to hang up, she says a girl is threatening to kill her because she likes her boyfriend. Attorney Lee says she could report it to the police but might get better results going straight to her parents. Destiny continues to ramble on to Poorman about a time she met him, and if he remembers.

1:15:45 Ben, 22 wants to talk to Dave and Doug about the Andrew Dice Clay feud. He says he saw them talking in front of the comedy store. Dave says the two comedians are getting along and something new might be in the works that they can't talk about.

1:17:49 The last call is for Doug. Scott, 17 says he is also handicapped with a tumor on his face. He says it makes it very hard to meet girls. Doug tells him not to get himself down and keep on trying. Dave gives Doug props for his confidence and that the more girls he talks to, the better.

There is some really intense wrestling talk and Poorman suggests getting Lee Alpert in the ring. They then go to commercial with Faith No More's hit song Epic.

Good show. The guests seem to be familiar with loveline, which I always appreciate. Spacin Mason even makes an appearance at the end of the episode, as his show is coming up right after this. Rest in peace.
