A guy calls and says he injured his penis while having sex with his girlfriend when the phone rang and his girlfriend leaned back to grab it, and he heard a loud pop. Upon pulling out and inspecting his unit, he realized it now had a distinct lean that had not previously existed. That small detail is what tips Adam and Drew off that he’s full of sh*t.

Adam asks who the person was who called and caused this cockastrophe and he says “uhhhhh….I don’t know it was one of her friends.” Any doubt that he was bogus completely evaporated in that moment because he would have the responsible party for his new Leaning Tower of Penis emblazoned on his brain for eternity if this were true. This leads the guys to talk about just how incredibly stupid their callers are.

Adam: “It would take 45 minutes to come up with a fake birth date. ‘Uhhh…uhhhh May….uhhhhh OH May 33rd!’ Stupid people don’t realize, they make noise while they’re thinking! Let me tell you something about being dumb. You make noise doing everything. The smarter you are, the less noise you make in every facet of life. Your music isn’t as loud or obnoxious, your car is quieter, your dog is quieter, your kids are quieter. What is it about being stupid that makes you so goddamn loud?”

Later as they’re returning from break:

Adam: “Orlando Jones gonna be in here tomorrow. I think he’s plugging Father of the Pride. And Dave Navarro in here on Monday, I think he’s plugging Carmen Electra. hehehehe YEAH, I still got it brother!”

Early in the show, Adam declares that the Abbot and Costello sketch “Who’s on First” is a hacky and terrible self-serving comedy bit. Later in the show, Adam, Drew, and Anderson try to come up with their own “Who’s on First” using band names like The Who, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The The, No Doubt, Corn, and others. They very quickly figure out that coming up with a “Who’s on First” routine is harder than it looks.

The guys finish the show on time for once so Adam has time to do some plugs, give some thanks, and of course give Engineer Chris (not in studio tonight) a heaping helping of backhanded sarcastic compliments that are actually insults.

It appears that by this time in Adam’s stint on Loveline, someone has finally hipped him to the fact that the saying is “tough row to hoe””, and not “tough road ‘a ho”
    (????)

From a technical standpoint, the show is a train wreck and they eventually let Anderson pick the calls. The guys are weirdly hostile to a lot of callers (and also Anderson, who lays down a few drops and then is accused by Drew of doing some just to mess with them, but he wasn’t).
The “Who’s on first” bit using band names did crack me up, though.
