Drew opens the show by saying he woke up depressed and was just in a funk all day long. He said he thought he should call a psychiatrist friend of his that he hadn’t talked to in months and kept thinking about it all day. Finally that guy beeped him even though they hadn’t spoken in a long time. He says it’s eerie that things like that happen in life.
This leads Adam to say we don’t really know how the brain works completely yet, and that it’s at least theoretically possible that if we think about something hard enough, something out there in the universe picks it up. He says if he can talk into a microphone and his voice can travel on an invisible wavelength through the air, then come out of a radio in the shape of his voice again so some jackoff in Milwaukee can listen to him in real time, then why is it so nuts to think we can influence, in some small way, the world around us.
Drew listens to all of this silently and then cuts in to mock Adam and by asking if he thinks Martians ever beam thoughts into his head or if the newscasters on his TV are broadcasting directly to him. This is funny except he was the one who got them on this topic by essentially implying that his buddy paged him because he thought about it all day.
During this discussion, Adam gets sidetracked completely and rants about Germans and how at some point they transferred all of their energy into “dominate Europe, kill all Jews, rule the world” to “get really funky shoes and really strange looking frames on our glasses.” He says it may have been Hitler’s last great decree that the German people get really funky duck-billed shoes, and ugly glasses that are always just a little bit too small.

In my opinion, a lot of female celebrities struggle with an eating disorder. I think its even more prevelant than we realize. There is also binge eating disorder, which is often the reason people become overweight.
Dr Drew also has body dysmorphia as well. And struggles with exercise bulimia to stay thin.

This is now recognized as an eating disorder, but its late at night and now I’m too lazy to sift through the internet about this specific subtype.
EDs are also known to be genetic mixed with cultural and environmental factors. Drew likely passed it onto her.
