total ‘guy, dude, bro’ caller around 1:15:00 in. he’s an “egotistic” actor who’s dating a “shallow” chick. pretty funny. the word ‘dude’ comes out of his mouth every other word.
At 1:25:00 is that the same guy who did the ‘Mercenary Position” call?
Coming back from break around 46 minutes in, a kid calls who claims to be a big fan of the show.
Adam: “Dan, you’re 18?”
Dan: “Yeah I’m 18 indeed. I’ve been a long time listener, first time caller.”
Adam: “Grrreat.”
Dan: “I’ve listened since the good old days. Whatcha have engineer Mike on there now?”
Adam and Drew together: “………um, yeah we used to have engineer Mike like four or five years ago.”
Dan: “oh, is he still on there?”
Drew: “Noo. Haven’t listened in a while I guess, eh?”
The guys put him on hold and can’t decide if it was meant to be a slight against them or Anderson or if the guy was just trying to prove he was a long time listener, albeit in a very retarded way.
Hey lordoftheview, the last caller is DEFINITELY, definitely the same guy ‘Patrick’ from the Mercenery Position caller from ONLY a week before this (10/17/02)..
I had to login and comment since I was so upset the guys didn’t catch on/remember him.
Beltway Sniper also discussed in this episode. Pretty cool to hear historical stuff like this throughout the arc of Loveline’s ongoing run.
At the end when Beauty is trying to pipe in on a call and the yentas are so loud he yells at them to shut up……haha good times
