  1. Lots of good rants. A few dumb callers. Towards the end there is a caller, Kevin, that is sleeping. Adam tries some subliminal messages. Then they come back to him a few times.

  2. HMSBeagle

Late in the show Jimmy Kimmel calls in after hearing Drew and Adam discuss his weight. Jimmy took particular offense to Drew having said that Jimmy used to have “novelty weight.” Jimmy: “Thanks for the weight thing, it’s like I’m Orson Welles or something.”

  3. Landlubber

Adam brings up the bumper stickers that say “Stop Elderly Abuse” and says that there’s not enough abuse of the elderly going on.

He goes on to make a point about elderly abuse that if it sounds familiar, it’s because it’s his exact same bit about gay bashing. He says for all the 20-year-olds who could kick a 70-year-old’s ass out there, there’s not a whole lot of it going on. This would become his philosophy about gay bashing that would be one of the reasons for his rift with Kevin Smith. Kevin Smith had Adam on his podcast a couple years back and Adam did his bit about gay bashing. He said for all the homophobia out there and considering how every straight man has a visceral reaction to seeing even a frame of gay porn, it’s surprising that there isn’t MORE gay bashing going on. He says, as a society, we’re showing restraint and that’s a good thing. Since a lot of Kevin Smith’s audience is extremely liberal, he got a shit ton of complaints about it and Kevin got pissed. There’s a lot more to the Kevin Smith/Adam feud and I highly recommend searching it out on Youtube since it eventually all gets aired on each other’s podcasts.
