This is one of my favorite no guest shows ever! Definetly one of those full moon nights. Adam is on fire and Drew barely gets to say a word. Especially the first 20 minutes or so are amazing, and when Adam likens caller Matt’s mother yelling with a goat and Anderson chimes in, i just broke up in tears laughing.
Almost exclusively retardo-hostile callers, and at the end of the night Adam apologizes on behalf of himself, Drew and the staff for the lack of consensus.
Love the John “voit” joke.
Adam: “Travel agents are horrible people by the way.”
Drew: “Hey now, my wife’s a travel agent, relax.”
Adam: “Ooh, I’m to something.”
Drew: “Relax.”
Adam: “Just bitches. Just a big bag of bitches. It was called Hoffman Travel but it shoulda been called Bag O’ Bitches. Just a big sack of bitches all under one roof.”
I love that Drew tells him to back off and he just goes full retard with it.
Later, Adam brings up that Jay Mohr is gonna be on tomorrow night’s show. He says “you know a lot of people hate Jay Mohr.” Drew is surprised by this but Adam says that he just rubs a lot of people the wrong way. By Jay Mohr’s own admission, he was a dick “back in the day.” He’s brought it up on his podcast that he used to just be an asshole to people and openly mock them in front of others and try to embarrass them. He said one day he woke up and realized how much of a dick he was and totally changed the way he treats people. By all accounts he’s one of the more likeable and genial celebs in Hollyweird. Strange how somebody does a complete 180 like that.
