Adam becomes Spoodini
Spoodini was hilarious!
“spoodini has a line of junk related finishing tools”
early in the show, Adam devises the ultimate porn alias after being inspired by a caller who can ejaculate without touching himself with his hands. For the rest of the show “Spoodini” is referenced by Adam and the callers alike.
Also, Anderson begins to pipe up subtly after being silenced by the Program Director earlier in the month, playing sound effects in the background of 1 or 2 calls.
Adam: “Al, you’re 19. What’s up?”
Al: “Well, my friend told me I have this special talent. You see, I can make myself shoot without touching myself.”
Adam: “Right. You just gotta have another guy’s ass wrapped around your penis.”
And so it was that Spoodini was born. Interestingly, it was Drew who came up with it. Granted, Adam led him there by dubbing himself “Goodini” to which Drew replied with “Spoodini.”
Kid gets revealed as bogus. He calls in and gives the name of his school, says he’s unattractive, skinny and tall, and is attracted to other guys at his school. Drew correctly guesses that the kid is just calling trying to ridicule a classmate of his. What a dick, lol.
After that a girl calls in who works in a lab on microwave radio filters or something. Adam asks how cloud-cover affects cell phones. She says she doesn’t know because it’s not really her field (which it’s not). Adam is still upset.
Adam: “Drew, how come there isn’t a woman born who knows anything?”
haha, even though it has nothing to do with her area of expertise he reams her on it.
What is up with the weird fart sounds every now and then? They’re not drops and they appear at random.
Pasta, I think it might be Drew’s chair. I always wonder what the random fart noises are too and in one episode the sound happens and Adam gets on him about it, and about the quality–or lack of it–of the equipment/chairs at Westwood None.
Could also be the microphone stand or whatever you want to call it. The segmented arm that holds the microphone up and allows it to be moved around. Moving that could make that noise.
Adam also mentions critic Tom Shales in the middle of the show around 46 min or so – hilarious whenever his review of the Man Show gets brought up
Spoodini night. Also 36 yr old Adam as a talking vagina was the funniest thing
Hilarious episode, definitely recommended
I believe this is the first time I’ve ever given an episode 5 stars confidently but the description says ‘one of the best’ for the rating and there’s not a single doubt in my mind that this is true. Great callers and the hosts were both on the absolute top of their game.
Side Note: I have no idea what episode are supposed to be for but it such as heck ain’t this one. No Traci Lords, Taboo 2 theme or Richey Edwards story/’Winnie the Pooh’ caller (that I recall).

I love how in later episodes a few callers would address Adam as “Spoodini”
