Drew seems particularily ornery in this episode, but overall pretty entertaining show.
Haha it was a swell episode… A good deal of eating disorder discussion.. Funny 5 second rant about meter maids in the last 10 second… Presumably a convo continued from the break… I like the word ornery
A girl calls in who wants to challenge the way Adam speaks to women with eating disorders. Earlier in the show he was talking about a girl who lost a ton of weight and was down to 175lbs. He basically said don’t pat yourself on the back too hard, you’re still gonna have a fat ass at 175.
The girl who called to bitch at Adam battled an eating disorder and thinks he’s crass and out of line the way he talks to these women. She also thinks Drew should really be the one talking during those calls but it’s impossible to get a word in with Adam there.
Drew: “Oh, thank you, can you please come down here to the studio and do the show with me?”
Adam: “Yeah, if we could fit her through the door.”
