Adam talks about having a wet dream – Drew is concerned that he hasn’t been jacking off and attributes it to Adam being depressed because Drew was not around. Batting Cage is around minute 58ish. I love how Joy is not amazed at all at Adam’s accurate job description.
This is another show where the guest is practically comatose unless someone specifcially asks him to participate.
I thought the guest was low-key but pretty good. He’s not brain dead, he’s just not that talkative. He’s in there when they start riffing.
Yea I prefer a more relaxed guest anyway, he’s cool and it better than if they were annoying. Funny how joy wasn’t joyful. I liked this ep, sounded like it was in HD ok this new ihome device I got beside my bed hehe
Joy, the batting cage girl, says early on that the youth group went to a ‘sports center’ which narrows down Adam’s guesses. Not really impressed.
Caller at about the 40 minute mark asking about his girlfriend sounds like AJ from the Sopranos.
He guesses someone’s boyfriend who works at a batting cage a few years later, in 2001 or so. It was unprompted with no hints and I think that was the one that Drew later praises Adam for.
Good musings around the 30 minute mark about how a woman lowers her expectations as she gets older
The Sports Complex Line was barely audible in the original transfer or missing entirely. I enhanced the audio so you could hear her say it. Adam and the Guest are off mic and fumbling with something, not paying attention, Adam comes back to mic and talks over her, Drew was distracted by the boys. I’ve seen the tape of this, not just speculation. They all missed sports complex, the guest calls it spooky.
Another show I regret sharing, some “fan” emailed Bald Bryan and had him confront Adam on air on the current ACS podcast and told Adam that he was wrong and didn’t predict the job, as far as I’m concerned this one totally counts, and you must understand the nuances of many contributing factors to understand how everyone didn’t hear that, even Drew. bummer, they took another one away from Adam.
Cracks me up I LOVE what a time capsule this show is. Referring to Fergie as “that Wild Orchid chick” who “looks like Pam Anderson.” I wonder if Adam ever once thought about it later when Fergie became Fergalicious. 😂 He got hit on by The Duchess.
