Seven Mary Three went to William and Mary – alma mater hale! I (and John Stewart, Glen Close, beloved LL guest Patton Oswalt and a bunch of dead presidents) went there and it is full of turbo nerds and is essentially where fun came to die. Drew says it is the oldest school in the nation and the band agrees, however we are 2nd to Harvard. Sucking the fun out of school since 1693!!!! I am sure all of the LL fan base cares…….. Don’t really remember this band and they are mediocre as I suspected – W&M is not really known for musicians, more like senators, lawyers and finance people.
Ok show – Adam tells the Adrienne Barbeau dream sequence where he goes to take off her top in a shopping mall and she screams and he stops. It is funny that he is so self deprecating – he can’t even score in his dreams! I googled her and she is quite busty. One of the band members talks about how his dad made him wear a turban for a long time. He sounds traumatized. He also had to grow his hair like 2.5 feet and when he went to a bar mitsvah he had to wear a yarmulke over his turban.
Lots of trying to convince Adam to be a dad after the 1 hour mark. Sounds like Lynette got started with the baby talk early.
Adam has a good show, band mediocre, Drew boring.
Worth the listen for some Adam stories I haven’t heard outside of this show.
Didn’t really notice the band, Barbeu story is fun
