The guys talk to a bitchy chick about whatever her problem is, and Adam pegs her as a biker chick. He ends up being correct, which is probably just a coincidence. But it leads to an interesting discussion about how the brain does thousands of little calculations a second. When we meet someone, our brain just starts going through a massive catalog of personality traits of people we have met in the past so we can match up this new person to something our brain is familiar with.
Adam says this chick just screamed biker chick to him and he doesn’t know why.
The guys talk about Scott Peterson who has pretty much just been sentenced to death for murdering his pregnant wife and dumping her body into San Francisco Bay. They talk about how they should just immediately carry out the execution on the condemned instead of wasting tax dollars keeping them in prison while their lawyers file appeals to stall.
That was around 8 years ago and here we are, with Scott Peterson still living.
Scott Peterson’s Wikipedia page is kind of funny. They say he was arrested in the parking lot of Torrey Pines Golf Course, where he was meeting his father and brother for a round of golf. In his car they found these “non-golf specific items”:
* $15,000 in cash
* four cell phones
* a double-edged dagger
* a shovel
* two ropes
* 200 blister packs of sleeping pills
* Viagra
* multiple credit cards belonging to various members of his family.
I just like how they had to say these were “non-golf specific items” in case we would be confused.

I’m not gonna go back and listen to figure all of this out (after I typed this I actually did because it’s driving me nuts), but there are three female callers over the course of the last two nights who sound EXACTLY alike. Not just similar, but exactly alike. They sound (pardon me) retarded. Like actually retarded mentally. Prrretty sure it’s the same person calling over and over.
On last night’s show she calls in at the 15 minute mark under the name Destiny. They mock her manner of speech by saying she should be an auctioneer, and in fact spend a good portion of the call mocking her speech. She calls tonight at the 31 minute mark using the name Rochelle asking why people have a problem with her being a lesbian. It’s a short call and I don’t think she gets her money’s worth because she calls again at the 50 minute mark with a totally bogus call about her friend hitting “hisself” in the balls with a ball peen hammer. In all three calls, the guys make mention of the caller being from Missouri. Now, you can make the argument that it’s just a Missouri thing, but this isn’t just an accent. It’s her whole personality and manner of speaking, aside from just her retarded inflection. The only thing that bothers me is that NOBODY mentions that this might be the same caller. How does she get by the phone screeners, Adam, Drew, and the engineers with nobody saying “uh….you guys hear that?”

At around 42:00 Adam mentions a show with Robert Blake. He also mentions how creepy he was and the “chilling” stories he told. Has anyone heard this?

It was obvious to me by the 2nd call on last night’s show.
That voice/cadence/hick accent is unmistakable.
It’s a head scratcher as to why neither Bald Bryan, Adam or Drew caught on.
With regard to Adam, Drew & company not picking up on the turbotard from Mazurruh- we’re talking about the same people who weren’t able to recognize the highly distinctive patterns in Miriam’s voice, fake crying, and histrionics, over the course of *dozens* of her bogus calls.
I can’t for the life of me understand how something so plain-as-day obvious blows by the entire staff. You’d think that at the very least Anderson, who mentioned at various times that he “listens to this show more than anyone else” while putting together Best Ofs, might notice the fact that four people coincidentally happened to share the exact same set of very characteristic speech patterns and personality…
This’s the kind of shit that gets me shouting at my stereo during my daily Loveline-assisted commute.
