Adam is hungover from his birthday weekend in Las Vegas– sound familiar to anyone?!
Drew is returning from his appearance at the mtv movie awards.
Adam tells a short yet hilarious story about trying to use the bathroom at the end of the party.
Drew talks about meeting Adam’s infamous high school friends, but does not spend as much time on it as he would like.
Adam does the Pie is superior to cake rant
The guests do not add much to the show- Seth’s better appearances are later on.

VERY early fire alarm call (~50 minutes). They all debate if it’s a fire alarm or sneakers on a floor. No rant about people being as stupid as reptiles for letting their alarms chirp for months on end. But still, the start of an era?

Guests were above average imo. They sound withdrawn & less involved, imo, because Engineer Mike doesn’t pot the guests up appropriately, esp. early on. This was a recurring problem in later ’98 episodes (See: Darrell Hammond asking Mike to come in and manually turn him up, followed by Hammond no longer sounding like he’s 40 feet away from Drew/Adam).

Don’t really know these guys but THIS is a perfect example of what I think perfect guests are… Let adam go on and are pretty funny with quick jokes… I love this… Great ep! Also drew was questioning how people would go through puberty in the next 10-15 years and that’s right in my age group.. It ok I guess

Good episode, guests were kind of subdued I expected a little more talkativeness from Charlie (who y’all my age remember as the kid in Dick Tracy) and Seth was half his usual energy. But good calls good atmosphere. I had just graduated when Can’t Hardly Wait came out and it’s always been a good one, nice to get even a tiny bit of inside info.
