Caller Rebecca at 0:42:30 is very likely Miriam. She has the classic Miriam qualities:
1) The wounded, helpless little girl voice, whispering as if she’s scared someone will hear her.
2) Upping the ante. She says she’s addicted to diet pills and gets Drew going with his advice. Then she adds sleeping pills–oh yeah, AND Vicodin.
3) Resistance. She never just takes their advice (because then they would move on to the next call). Whatever they tell her to do, Miriam in her many guises always comes up with reasons she can’t do it.
I really hope she was hit by a car at some point in the mid- to late-2000s.
