Caller Melissa calls around minute 1:10 saying she had a dream where Adam’s 20 Commandments are listed on a restaurant board. This is a memorable call for me for some reason, perhaps because I am impressed with her recall bc a) This was a bit he did years before (which I don’t remember at all) and b) I forget my dreams (which are all equally wacky) 20 mins after I get up and moving. Also – the commandments pretty much cover all of the show’s sidebar material for the past decade. Well done Melissa!

10-year-anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s suicide (or murder if you believe that documentary).

A girl calls in who says she was molested by her Great Grandfather.

Adam: “Maybe downgrade him to “good.” If you make it to the lofty title of Great Grandfather but then diddle your Great Granddaughter, you gotta come down to good.”

Drew: “What about average grandfather? Barely grandfather.”

Adam: “Ehhh, I don’t know Drew, you make it to 85 with just a sprinkling of molestation, let’s not rush to judgement.”

A girl calls in who says she used to listen to the show all the time but stopped about a year ago. Then last night, she “had a dream” where there was a restaurant board with the list of Adam’s 20 commandments. She lists them all, and they’re just call backs to all of his various bits over the years. Drew just fawns over how incredible the human brain is that is has the capability to present this to her in a dream and for her to remember it. lol. It’s clearly bullshit and the girl wrote them while fully awake, but okay they play along. But Drew just keeps fawning over it in amazement as if it’s real. It’s…strange.

There is a funny bit around the hour mark where a woman won’t say her husband’s exact age (30s, early 30s) and Adam re-enacts giving a vague description of his age range “less than 33, more than 31”
