Ethan won Survivor: Africa, but he’s on the show this time to plug one of the seasons where they brought back notable players from previous seasons. He is a great guest, and gets along fantastically with both guests.
At about the 1:08:00 mark, he debuts a prototype for something he invented: a specialized cereal bowl. Overall a very good ep.
Adam makes fun of Puerto Ricans, “homos”, and Frogs (the French) all in the first 7 minutes of the show. Right after that, he tells Ethan he doesn’t need all these cultural tribe names like the Sambuka Tribe. He just wants good old fashioned American tribe names like Turbo Max. Ethan says “but we’re opening America up to more cultures.” Adam says “we don’t need that, we need to build a wall.” I love how he just spouts all this stuff in front of a guest he’s never met and doesn’t care if everyone thinks he’s a racist/homophobic nut.
Adam says he doesn’t understand the whole Survivor Buff thing. If they’re gonna market a product it should be something cool like the compass or the flint. He says they should market the buffs to cancer patients. “You got Cancer? We got the answer!” and “enjoy your last days on Earth stylishly!” Ethan laughs along and it’s eerie because he gets diagnosed with cancer in ’09. He goes into remission but it comes back again. According to Wikipedia, he’s currently cancer free.
Ethan is a very quite guest. “Invents” a stoner cereal bowl which a caller does not enjoy and says there are many patents for cereal bowls. Decent show.
Around the 30 minute mark Adam and Drew rag on universal healthcare (eye roll)
