here’s another example of a great guest i wrote-off because i think i know it all.
I was expecting a caricature, instead Randy was genuinely interested in the show the entire time, honest, humble, and funny.
some great Hulk Hogan jabs. i spit coffee on at least one comment.
he has a lot of experience in exercise/diet that he was willing to share.
great guy.
bummer. Ralph can be funny, and i bet Adam and him had a bunch of roomie stories.
Decent episode, but did not entertain me nearly as much as The Macho Man’s first appearance on 9/7/00. You’ll get to hear a couple of his cheesy trash-talking-themed songs off of an album he is promoting.
His songs are wildly silly but it is fun to listen to. I would rather listen to Randy Savage than most of the comedians that come on.
Randy Savage passed away a few months ago RIP
Fun guest. Not a wrestling fan, but he seemed sincere in a tough guy way. Engaging show. Sorry to read he passed away recently.
They said they were gonna play Macho’s new song, but then they played a Ja Rule song instead.. What”s the deal?
Macho man just bitches about hulk hogan the whole time and that music is horrible.
Eerie to hear a caller talk about her dad dying in a car wreck to know Macho Man bought it in a wreck some years later. Also, lots of talk of dead wrestlers. FREAK OUT. RIP Macho Man.
For those thinking you’re gonna hear the tired one liner break into a Slim Jim, listen and you’ll hear that there’s a brain in the man.
Lanny Poffo, Macho Man’s brother, IRL, wrestled for a while as “The Genius.”
Great show – Macho Man was a true performer and it comes through here. Kind of funny that Adam brings up pills at one point and Macho Man jokes that he has what Adam needs. He ended up dying from heart disease at 58, likely caused by drug abuse.
Macho mans a great guest! Full of momentum. Clearly hates Hogan though haha
RIP Macho Man. The last segment Adam goes off on how big dinosaur waste must be. “The dook the size of a Winnebago, Drew. Think about that.”
