I’ve heard a few shows with some variant of Osbornes on, and I don’t think they make very good guests with the possible exception of Ozzy. 1.5 stars.

23:20 what he’s actually asking is why he “detunes” his guitar? They are referring to tuning the guitar down a half step or full step, not really meaning detuning or giving it more flexibility, but detuning from standard
The detuning guitar question starts at 0:22:20 and actually is a question from Gary, Ace’s long time handyman-employee, now known more commonly as Gary Full Tard.
Gary’s probably talking about the “dropped D” tuning. If you drop the lower E string to a D, you can play power chords–“hard rock” chords, basically–with one finger instead of two.
