Not generally a big fan of Rob Schneider, but I was pleasantly surprised, he was quite funny in the episode of Loveline, played off of Adam quite well.
i second nintendosteve – rob is a good guest and makes fun of the callers.
Always a solid guest.
Rob Schneider is usually a solid guest who shakes off his on-screen image of being a buffoon. IMO this is one of his weaker appearances. He tries too hard to be funny and busts out all sorts of annoying voices. It works when he’s making fun of an evangelical who chose to be “born again” at 17 because used to curse too much; otherwise it’s grating.
15:23, a precious 17 yr old virgin and born again AKA “an interesting strategy, for a guy who can’t get laid in high school”. Rob does a sweet Adam Sandler-esque impression while mocking the caller. Comedy gold!
really funny show. the high point was when started making fun of the born again teenager. adam cracked up when he did that.

ROB IS EXTREMELY ANNOYING IN THIS EPISODE
Pretty funny episode. Rob makes fun of a born-again. Girl asks for crossword puzzle help (Adam: “You’re 14, you’re from Oklahoma and you don’t know who Menachem Begin is???”). Girl calls in and says she can only get off when thinking of herself. Stammering guy says he doesn’t want to have sex with a girl he knows. Rob does a Marv Albert impression and a bunch of other voices.
Based on the comments I was expecting a lot from this show…
However, this is a really great episode. Also the first time I’ve heard Adam refer back to the classic episode where the guy has ‘consensual sex with his dog.

The “Hebrew Leader” crossword question is more than likely MOSES, not “Began” (Begin was the Prime Minister of Israel in the late 70s and early 80s) Since we never get confirmation from the girl, we’ll never know which one actually fit…
Alternative answers would also be Aleph, Rabbi, or Micah (And I’m sure there are others as well)
I’m on the fence between liking it and not liking it. I can see why they took him on as a temporary host after Adam left
Rob is over the top in this episode. Almost takes over the whole show. You can tell Adam and Drew had an ass full that night.
Terrible guest: wound up, obnoxious and not funny. Keeps jumping on calls like and he’s a dick to several callers in an awkward and douchey way – not in a funny ‘Carolla’ way. All his unfunny impressions become annoying very quickly. Guy’s seriously overrated (both here and in Hollywood).

Rob definitely goes a little over the top with his impressions in this appearance (feels like every other call he tries one) but still a solid episode. He mentions several times that he’s a long-time fan of the show and came on without plugging anything, that’s a good guy in my book.
Rob can’t stop talking… ease up on the green tea, buddy. “Are you a mormon?” drop.
