    Tesh is an enjoyable guest.

Woooooo! 17:40 Tesh goes on a ‘you should pray’ jag and Drew chimes in with ‘I think there is ample evidence that prayer has healing properties’. Adam says he am an atheist but has heard of a bunch of studies backing up the efficacy of prayer. ADAM!!! The last thing Tesh says is that Adam should pray to god and thank him for his radio gig.

23:00 John pushes his wife’s (Connie Sellecca) skin cream – The Sellecca Solution. Later Adam hints that Connie was born with pretty genes insinuating the skin cream had nothing to do with it. Tesh doth protest.

    Truncated show. Just average.

The band plays live music, a violin and mouth beat box! Very refreshing to hear musicians ply their craft and not simply play a recording.

Around 28:00 Adam asks for violin backup then mimics a Ken Burn’s style Civil War recitation. The beatbox guy adds sound effects.

Eh, that doesn’t surprise me. Adam’s an atheist but not the kind who wants crosses removed from the L.A. crest, “In God We Trust” taken off the dollar bill, etc. As long as people aren’t choosing prayer over seeing a doctor, he wouldn’t mind people asking the Big Man for a little extra help.

An example of the guest really adding to the show. Tesh was awesome and had an amazing rapport with Adam. And about the prayer thing, I think Drew was referring to the placebo effect. Regardless, everyone was great, the calls were great and I found myself wishing they had another later episode with John.
