Band members used to be carpenters. Adam felt the need to quiz them on the air about the thicknesses of doors and whatnot. They didn’t recall the exact numbers, and Adam’s smugness is practically audible.
Yeah, Adam’s insecurity is in full tilt in this episode and was a real prick to the band. He would interrogate them every chance he got, and even interrupt callers to throw stuff at them. At one point Drew tried to defend them and then Adam outright mocked them for not knowing something specific like door jamb height or the size of a door knob bore.
You didn’t get the joke.
Interesting calls. One woman runs an online sex toy store and is worried about exposing her 16 year old son. There is a 25 year old female virgin who lives in her head. Then there is a 16 year old who has had sex with 6 guys since she was 14. Lots of chaos in her life.
The band did get a few questions right.
They were doing a bit. Do you not understand what comedy is? Jesus Christ you’re as stupid as the callers.
Chevelle is great. I didn’t mind the construction questions throughout at all. Good episode
Adam is showing off his knowledge but the band does get quite a few questions right. Not going to win any awards, but Interesting episode.
