Was wondering why there were no comments here, then I realized this was a Stryker episode. So disappointing, I wanted to see whether or not she was a byatch to Adam this time.
Without Adam there, Janeane uses her mic time to blow so very hard. She has a hugely inflated self-image; she basically considers herself the representative for, and martyr on behalf of, every woman who doesn’t look like Gwyneth Paltrow. Eventually Drew points out that she’s not actually bad-looking, but that doesn’t slow her down.
I agree to both posts. I’m a huge fan of Janeane’s work (Larry Sanders Show, etc) and there were several episodes before this with stryker. I hoped and pleaded that Adam would return when she got here, but I was wrong.
It was funny because as I was listening I thought she had a bit of an attitude, but nothing extraordinary. Then the next episode stryker talks about how much he dislikes her, and Drew is surprised. I never liked stryker much, so I won’t let his opinion sway me.
She would have been much more enjoyable had Adam been there to dish back what she was arguing about. stryker has never been a good host when female guests are on. Adam, on the other hand, is best with them.
I nominate Janeane Garofalo as the worst guest in the history of Loveline. Why they invited her back a second time is beyond me. She was a total byatch the first time and she was even worse on this episode. God forbid anyone do or say anything funny or she bites their head off. Isn’t she a comedian for God’s sake? I cant stand this woman.

This show was pretty interesting didn’t think Janeane was that bad at first even after the first show she was on, but I slowly grew very tired of her. She had to flip out on every drop and get upset with Drew for doing a few silly things here or there; god forbid he has fun on the show. “Dr. Drew, you’ve changed” got really annoying.
Apparently, according to a story Anderson has told, Janeane said she would not come back on the show until they fired Anderson. Looks like she was true to her word; good riddance.
Hey it’s me. The anti intellectual that Janeane lays into a bit at the end. Looking back as someone in their late 30s, it was a bit of an immature call. But I always enjoyed the comic relief on the show.

Weird episode… the best part was Anderson goading Janeane with the drops, especially at the end
