Solid show with Matthew.. Episode starts off with discussion of Matthew’s new movie, Without a Paddle, and early on Adam learns that Drew has never heard of D. B. Cooper.
I love how Matthew Lilliard said he was trying to become a movie star/leading man in this appearance. He never broke out of the supporting role/best friend/a-hole/annoying villain
Matthew is the kind of guest you want on this show. Energetic but not trying to step on everyone. Comfortable with the dynamic, he participates in Adam’s rants, jokingly chides Drew for his general squareness, and even gives Engineer Chris some lighthearted abuse while also trying to give legitimate advice to callers but deferring to Drew’s expertise.
I think most of the hate for this guy is because he has a goofy voice and comes off like a schmuck in his movies. Seems like a good dude though.
If you like dogs, gotta skip the Germany/Florida at about 28:00 min.
Great show, flows like a river.
Adam does a small rant on Aids/Cancer research and such.
Lillard I a good guest, he might have the oddest laugh ever. Almost seems like he’s fake laughing. Good stuff
I get tired of repeated rants but this might be the best “turn left on red arrow” rant. Show has a good flow but doesn’t really stand out. Needed Anderson to drop some Zoinks.
