Great chemistry between John & Adam. John’s pretty quick, so they play off of each-other well.
Bruce probably didn’t have gel in his hair based on his behavior and Adam’s reception of him.
Mayer’s really smart and entertaining. Definitely give this one a listen, it’s a favorite.

One of my favorite episodes. It is followed by another one of my favorites, with Dom Monaghan and the infamous Dr. Alter.
I’m only 11 minutes in and already cracking up. Adam is going on another rant about the offensive nature of Fear Factor (a rant that I totally agree with- and had a big problem with when that show aired on primetime)
and Dr. Bruce totally drops the ball when he enters this discussion and Adam and John pick on him.
“Oh Bruce, I hated the idea of you being here today.”
Hilarious.
Um…I’m pretty sure John was kidding about Jennifer Garner calling him.
Anyway, GREAT show. It definitely solves the question “John Mayer: douchebag or cool guy?” Adam even calls him the best guest ever. It’s too bad that his was only appearance.
LMAO…”I don’t need your rectal charity” Adam and John discuss anal sex.
Great rants, good banter, some interesting calls.
Mayer was a lively intelligent guest.
John’s one of the better guests. He’s quick and has great chemistry with Adam. Bruce is abused by Adam throughout the show; he doesn’t say much.
John’s awkward question involving transgenders at 37:53. Never heard zesty and robust used to describe that sort of thing before…

Absolutely sickening show. Sickening that Ace watches “Friends”. Sickening how useless Dr. Spaz is. Sickening how likable John Mayer is. I’m gonna go vomit now. Four Stars.
We now know that John Mayer can at least pretend not to be a tool for 2 straight hours. Although he may have nailed producer Ann, told her he loved her, then tweeted what a hot piece of ass she was during a commercial break. You know, if theyda had twitter
A great episode. Mayer and Carolla have great chemistry and it’s obvious that John is a little bit of a pervert, he knows a lot about porn and transgender porn. Mayer is one of the best guests ever and it’s too bad he never returned.
The staggered girl-dating system is genius.
This episode contains a hilarious and spot-on observation by John Mayer that Dr. Bruce looks like an “aging child star”. Google him and try to disagree.

Wow, John Mayer is a great guest. Smart, well-spoken, funny, and he has a great chemistry with Adam. I’m kind of disappointed he’s never been on again.

After listening to nearly every episode twice over the course of the past 5.5 years, this is my singular favorite. That’s saying something.
Fantastic episode. Johns a great guest, him and Adam play off each other very well. Lots of good jokes, and anyone who showed up for the MM celebration of life is a great person in my book.
Great episode! John and Adam have wonderful chemistry. Dr spaz knows his place and fades into the backyard. It’s a shame John Mayer wasn’t a more frequent guest. I also prefer dr Bruce episodes because is is much more of a beta male than drew (which allows Adam to go wild)
When John Mayer was acting out his previous prank calls as a child, it made me laugh soooo hard. For me, that was the definite highlight. Worth the listen!!
