Lit are returning to the show for their penultimate appearance during the Adam era, they return for one final visit in 2004. Lit prove to be amazing guests and earn their title of "friends of the show" by once again bringing the merriment and energy many bands simply did not muster up for a LoveLine appearance.

Adam has just come back from a swap meet in Pomona. Great rant about rednecks. Lit seems pretty cool too.
There seems to be a very strong correlation between being a 90s top 40 rock group and being an excellent loveline guest. All these bands whose songs I liked enough not the change the station but not enough to seek out or buy anything from actually seem to be some of the most engaging and entertaining guests.
They don’t take themselves too seriously or think they are experts, they are intelligent, and they usually have a good rapport with Adam.
Lit is another example and this is a mostly upbeat show. Good times.

Great guests. I feel Adam’s pain whenever he’s the only one who’s familiar with something famous. Whipping Post is one of the greatest classic rock songs by one of the most legendary rock bands to ever exist. How a room full of people who work in radio and who are themselves in a rock band don’t know Whipping Post is shameful. Poor Adam.
