i realize most of my recent comments have been ‘this person’s a tool’ and ‘that thing sucks’ recently, but man these guys are tools and nickelback really sucks.
I don’t love Nickelback, but where did this universal hate for them come from? lol. It’s like the entire world got together at a meeting somewhere and decided that Nickelback would henceforth be publicly shamed in all forums and cast down as the worst band in the universe.
One day everyone was singing along to their song “Hero” from the Spiderman soundtrack and then all of a sudden…..boom, these guys are fucksticks.
I don’t know if I can listen to Chad Kroeger for more than one song, but I’ll stand up and admit it right here–mostly because I’m sure nobody will ever read it–but if a Nickelback song comes on the radio, you know what I do? I fucking listen to it.

Not sure I remember the ‘everyone loves Nickelback’ era… I do remember the ‘retards sure seem to love this crap’ era.
As for the universal hatred, I would guess that a combination of exposure to the attitudes and behavior of the band, their continual re-releases of the same crappy song, and the eventual collective realization by the retards…
‘Oh wait, so these guys are fags? They’re not cool anymore? OK, check,’ as retards will do.

lol, yeah I agree that they’re right there with all the other bands out there who re-release the same crappy song over and over, but they somehow got the top spot on Douche Mountain. And it seemed to happen all of a sudden overnight.
You’re dead on with the retards who jump on their three-wheeled stationary bandwagon at the first sign of the wind blowing in the opposite direction they’re going. The anti-Nickelback thing got some momentum and that was it. No pulling out of that tailspin.
The best way to combat that is to be in on the joke. They should just release a new album called “Nickelback Sucks” or “Eh, who are we kidding?” They gotta make money somehow.
Cuz I don’t think he’ll cut it as a poor man stealing.
i dislike nickelback as much as the next guy, but – aside from the bit of tension over the weed comment by drew – but they def didnt seem too douchey here.
