At 66:00 Adam recounts his experiences with psychic/medium Lysa Mateu from the Feb 14, 2001 show.
A woman calls in around 17 minutes in who is 26 but has been married for 10 years. According to my mathematical prowess that means she got married when she was 16. She has two kids with the husband but she doesn’t love him anymore because he’s emotionally abusive and always tried to do weird things in their sexual relationship. As she’s explaining this, all of a sudden you hear a guy barking something into a squawk box in the background. She tells the guys to hold on and answers back to the guy “10-4, thank you.”
Adam and Drew laugh and say “please god tell me she’s not a police officer.”
Adam: “Are you an officer?”
Caller: “Yes.”
Adam: “You’re not a meter maid?”
Caller: “No.”
Adam: “Do you work for the Dallas Police Department?”
Caller: “I’ll just keep that in.”
Adam: “You work in dispatch?”
Caller: “Yes.”
Adam: “You don’t carry a gun do you?”
Caller: “No.”
Adam: “Gooood. Good.”
A ping goes off in the background and Adam says that’s the noise it makes when there are officers pinned down by gunfire and meanwhile she’s keeping the line busy by calling Loveline.
Just to be clear, this IS the Sisqo show and not a duplicate of the previous night’s show, but Sisqo doesn’t come in.
Well, sort of.
He arrives about an hour too early and Anderson tells him to do a few laps around the block or to go grab something to eat, which apparently offends him because he leaves and doesn’t ever come back, and his publicist turns off his/her phone so they can’t be reached.
So that night was exactly like present day. You have no chance of hearing Sisqo on the radio.
That’s a bummer I was looking forward to sisqo coming in. Really liked the last time he was in
