Traci has been labeled as a difficult or unpleasant guest, often in not such kind terms on LoveLineTapes. Once again decide for yourself, Traci is promoting her role on the series 'First Wave.' Adam sings 'He Has It All' from the Taboo II soundtrack and generally steers the conversation towards Traci's history with the adult entertainment business despite her clear desire to permanently distance herself from her experiences and exploitation as a teenager. By 2001 she was a legit mainstream actress on a TV show, one can empathize with her frustrations with Adam who loves the industry she detests.

I was trying to figure this out last night and you are correct, this needs to be changed from no guest to Traci Lords will do that in a bit. The second file is the one with Chandler and Raylene and it is really supposed to be 2000-02-16. Will move that now, it’s the one that is 16kbps and 44 minutes long.
This is a duplicate of the 1/14/2001 Traci Lords episode, this one starts right after the first break but is higher quality than the ones listed under the correct date. 2001 is the correct date because in the first segment they mention that she’s promoting the third season of First Wave. Jan. of 2000 would have still been the second season…
Rarely does such an accomplished guest set her feet in Westwood one, but tonight Traci Lords graces Adam with her presence.
Traci brings this show to new levels, not once achievable.
At 18:00 minutes we find that Dr. Drew purposely skipped Adam’s party. A wild discussion brews.
Dr. Drew sheepishly shows up at Adam’s New Years Eve party at 4:00 pm, so that he doesn’t have to make another appearance that night. Once again, Adam is wronged.
Traci is every 15 year old girl that is good looking, but has been mistreated by daddy that has ever called Loveline.
This bitch is AAAANGRY and hates anything with a penis. I was also annoyed by her bitterness toward the industry that made her famous and then tried to say she’s worked very hard to establish herself as a legitimate actress, and her fame from the porn industry has nothing to do with her current “success”. Yeah, where are you now, Tracy? Dumbass…
Another thing is there is static in this recording and it’s right in the same frequency as Tracy’s raspy voice and makes her that much more annoying.

Yeah Traci Lords is the biggest cunt to ever appear on Loveline. Not sure which appearance it is but on one of them she says “That wasn’t funny at all” at least 20 times when Adam cracks jokes. I have no idea why Ann or Westwood One booked her THREE TIMES.

Traci is indeed a bad guest, but I don’t think she’s that much of a bitch. It’s more that she’s yearning to be taken seriously, and not thought of as just the chick who used to do porn at 15. So she ends up being too serious, humorless, and preachy. Ironically, the show would be better if she was more of a bitch, because then Adam would attack her mercilessly.

I feel Adam’s pain. Antique’s Roadshow (US) is a great show… how nobody knows about it. Tracy,,,, maybe Tracy should’ve stuck to the adult films…

Traci Lords is a shit guest. Anything funny or interesting Adam brings up she immediately tries to put the brakes on. Great example of how bad women can be on the radio.
Adam is pretty funny here and gets no help from the guest or drew.

Traci is a major killjoy in this episode. Adam manages to make it a decent episode regardless.
Man Traci is such a bummer. She also sounds like a sex phone operator w/ a penis in her mouth. Cannot stand this woman. Adam is evidently not sincere about asking her back lol.
Traci comes off as the world’s worst human. So judgmental and angry… Add the annoying voice and the fact that she thinks that she’s still hot stuff, and you’ve got one of the worst guests ever!
I have an alternate file for this show that is missing the first approximately 21 minutes but has none of the static making it much more listenable. I added the first 21 minutes from this source to the beginning of the higher quality source if anyone wants it send a PM.
