Lots of great calls today.
A few notable things in this episode. Adam eviscerates an Asian caller, tears into surgeons who perform transgender operations and finally, the infamous goat caller returns at the very end of the episode.
Adam’s point about thinking you’re Napoleon is dumb. You can’t be born Napoleon. But you can be born a girl or boy.

Hilarious episode. They talk to a female that got an operation to become a male..sounded bogus at first but by the end it actually sounded pretty legit. Drew drops the S bomb when talking about it at 1:00:05
Ha!! Wise-ass 14 year old Ian, who doesn’t care for Drew, turns out to be the wise-ass 15 year old Ian who originates the “Screw you, Drew” drop on the 2001 Hoobastank show. In fact he even says “Screw you, Drew” on this show, although not as clearly.

I think the “screw you drew” drop is three days before this show (December 7th) when the kid originally calls. Anderson plays it once or twice during the show after the call.
Adam opens the show talking about how he doesn’t like to read – Funny thing is that Adam has know written a book… and I got the audiobook version of it

Well, Anderson does make a drop out of Ian saying “Screw you, Drew” during that show, but he doesn’t add it to his arsenal/permanent rotation. The specific “Screw you, Drew” drop that we all know and love definitely comes from the ’01 Hoobastank show.

The country groove going on in the background gave this episode a sort of surreal quality that made me laugh at some points.
Redneck guy calls in and says that his girlfriend who is still in high school got in some sort of confrontation with “a black guy.” The guy supposedly pushed her or something. He makes sure to point out that it’s “a black guy” multiple times.
Adam: “Okay so what happened?”
Caller: “Well I called him and he was like fu……..” (Anderson drops him)
Adam: “Listen, when you’re on the radio you can’t use the “F” word even if you’re quoting a black guy. I know it seems unfair.”
Is Anthony at 0:14:00 Lucas the guy who was dating “Lasanya” from the 3/23/2001 show? They have a very similar back story.
great show from 2000,but i found myself playing name that tune. Source was likely a cassette tape with great old blues tunes, then recorded over with Loveline. You can hear Howlin’ Wolf and Sonny Boy Williamson underneath the show. Weren’t cassettes great? Check it and see if you agree:

I think the Asian was fake and I swear I can’t tell if the goat dude Darren at the end is fake or not. I guess I’ll just go with real to make life better. Ironic the show finishes with him after the faint country music type harmonica jams in the background
