Hilarious story about Chris passing out in Tijuana starting at about the hour mark.
1:09:45 Call of the night: Casey, who has Turrets syndrome, calls in to ask Bruce if he’s turning into his father. First, he bites his cat, shaves it’s fur, and uses it for his ‘artwork’. Things get even more morbid when he talks about how his dad, who was a veteran, just coming back from Vietnam, took his family to the garage, tapes a hand grenade to his head, and killed himself in front of them. WOW… Now Casey has a collection of 36 assault weapons because he feels comfortable around them. Adam and Bruce want him to promise to get rid of the guns. Whoa… creepiness abound.
Was there ever a follow up on the Casey caller?
Good show, McCarty is kind of quiet, but when he does speak, it is some real good solid advice. Smart guy for a hockey goon 😉

Before I start its 2:49 am and I get to another NHL player episode right as the Blackhawks are doing something significant again! Lol. Champions! Lol. And while everyone’s partying I’ll be listening to this. Definitely hitting up the parade in downtown Chicago though
This is one of the first Adam lovelines I ever listened to when I wanted to find more classic episodes. I immediately recognized it after mont’s comment. That call stuck with me. I also remember being surprised there were also athletes on but I figure since they’re pretty quiet they don’t have them on often lol. Granted back then I think I only heard the second half of this episode starting with that call. And Darren was kinda less talkative in that hour. The drew drops were great and there were lots of them. & of course the always awesome boogie and shuffle were played XD. Darren seemed to dislike Bruce as the show went on.
I was hoping for more hijinks with the prank caller Darren knew.
