Adam describes this show as having a weird energy, and he is totally right. The callers and their questions are ridiculous, the band is crazy, and engineer Mike is on-point with the drops.
This is also another Drew-in-Seattle episode. The delay between the two seems more egregious than it was on the previous episode, but that is probably because this show begins without any guests – so it is just Adam talking with a much delayed Drew. The delay works itself out around the 25 minute mark.
The Kottonmouth Kings are a completely ridiculous band and come into the show claiming to be high. They are pretty irreverent and one of them brought a girlfriend along who laughs in the background throughout the show.
Kottonmouth Kings made this show terrible with their 6th grade jokes and lame questions to the callers. Adam seemed to have a fun enough time, but.. poor Drew!
The guests were typical high trying to be cool people. I didn’t hear the 6th grade jokes, just a lot of stereotypical dudes in a band hitting on callers type of stuff. The highlight of the show were the first few callers who were all very dumb.
An excellent show if you love stupidity. Among callers and guests lol. Kottonmouth kings are like if a stoner caller became famous. Despite them being dumb their music isn’t horrible. It’s like a more Latino sublime. It says they’re from Orange County lol I don’t know much about California land but Id guess their parents are disappointed white collar folk haha

This is a pretty bad one. Adam sort of loses control of the show early, weird calls, nothing really goes anywhere, and the band isn’t a horrible guest, but they’re fairly juvenile and don’t add much. Adam makes a few jokes, but overall a poor example of his comedy.

possibly the worst guests ever. so damn annoying. we already know by the band name they are stoners, why do they have to brag about all the shit they smoke? of course being high makes em think every retarded sentence they speak is cool or funny. and after all that, their music sucks too
Listen to the Long Beach Dub All-Stars episode from 2000. Worst guests ever. Just totally brain-dead.
Interesting to see some tension building between Adam and Mike.
