This comment is on the wrong page now (relates to Jan 23rd1997 episode with Cake, but it’s one episode back in what’s available on Loveline Tapes.
Anyway I’m pretty sure they were joking about the astrology stuff and they agreed on the idea that religion serves some primary human needs, but barely and in imperfect ways, so really it’s not the sort of discussion that should make atheists uncomfortable.
Also I miss Q101 too. But mourning radio stations is probably an awful waste of energy.
I was just looking up the guests on WikiPedia and it turns out that Vince DiFiore has a Masters in Psychology. I guess that’s why Adam mentioned early in the episode how smart they were.
