The handling of the call about the boyfriend ‘fondling’ the dog was annoying. They were almost flippant about what is just another form of sexual abuse (beastiality is not a light subject). At one point Bruce asked if the guy’s family was ‘normal’, as if anyone’s family is normal and as if that would make it ok.
I don’t view this call and how it was handled as typical or I wouldn’t be such a fan of the show.
Who messed with the dr drew shuffle?!?! That’s one of the greatest moments in loveline history right there! It’s cool though… Loved part of all mixed up by 311 there at the end. Good show
mark, they got the impression that he was just screwing around, not really doing it as a form of sexual gratification. But yeah, I would’ve asked more questions to be sure.
it also sounded like a bogus call, phone screener could have alerted them if they heard laughs in the background etc.. sounded like she chuckled a lot.

-46:00 min they get a call from a guy whose stepdad potentially drugged and groped him and Adam oversteps Dr. Bruce in saying this guy’s living situation is unsafe, taking him off the air for Dr. Bruce to give resources. Very sad call and good example of Adam taking responsibility for the more delicate aspects of the show when Drew wasn’t around.
